In an effort to develop a growing appreciation in a democratic form of government, the Student Council provides the responsibilities and privileges of participating in such a democracy in school, and strives to develop citizenship. The Student Council in its capacity to schedule the school's activities, tries to maintain an even balance of these ideals so that the student body might most beneficially profit.
