and Coach Sflooc We, the annual staff, are happy to dedicate the 1955 Stampede to our coach, Mr, Hood, and the fighting Bullie Football Team of '54- 55, It was only through the team work and co-operation of coach and “the boys that they led us to so many victories, This year they came out on top over Grapevine and New Castle for the first time in the history of B, H,S, They also wonevery game played on the home field, This year for the first time in “years” the Bullies kept us ahead for the first 46 minutes of the Decatur game, That gave Decatur only two minutes to yell, We wish the best of luck to each of you,

) uperintendent s Message To The Annual Staff, Faculty, and Students: Kindly accept my thanks with appreciation and gratitude for the fine job you have done in the preparation and publication of the annual, I think we have every reason to be proud of school. Around us every- where are evidences of growth and improvement. School is notice- ably different and better this year, The student body is to be commended for the fine attitude reflected in their cheerful cooperation with every phase of the work, The faculty is obviously expressing a determined interest and effort to secure, to hold and to keep only those good qualities which make school better, The desire for greatly improved school facilities has found new ex- pression in the willof the community, for they have responded cheer- fully to the financial needs of our school. To the end that our efforts, our interest, and our desires shall not be disappointing let us here and now dedicate ourselves to the task of making the best better. Sincerely, Herbert D. Flowers
