GOODWILL PROGRAM LATIN CLUB Since its rcorgani:ation two years ago, the Latin Cluh has continued to thrive admirably under the direction of Miss Marion M. Greene. This year hifweekly meetings were presided over hy Mary Louise Rafferty, Senior Consul, assisted hy the junior Consul, Irma Lang. .lean Gallaf gher, Elinor Steinhardt, and Dana Alohnf son, who served as Senior, hlunior, and Sophomore Aediles, respectively, pref sented programs at all of the meetings. Frances Lyle held office as Scriha, and Eleaf nor Mallay Smith as Censor. Une project ot' the cluh was a pageant presenting scenes taken from the readings of Virgil, Cicero, and Caesar and the Arvof h KNHIYS. FRENCH CLUB A gay, testiyc scene, typical of the ta' mous Mardi Gras ot' New Orleans. was FRENCH CLF!! created in thc gymnasium on Fchruary '10 hy Le Cercle Frangaisf' under the super' vision of Madame Helen Hawes. Miss Mar' jorie R. Bushnell, and Miss Josephine Ter- riceiano. Brightly decorated hooths, featurf ing games of skill, a fortune teller. a photo' grapher, and puppets, lined the avenue. while traveling minstrels entertained in the cafe, The climax of the evening occurred with the crowning of the king and queen, loseph Dorsky and Hilda Freedman, who were chosen hy the vote of the French students. The affair was directed hy Seymour London, president of the French cluh. He was assisted hy a hoard of students in' cluding David Aaron, Mary Louise Rafferf ty, Hilda Freedman, Eleanor Mallay Smith, Lila Berkman, Franklin Brown, ,lean Gallaf gher, Ruth McCarthy. and Peggy Me' Guiness.
