She was nominated for teacher of the year. We are proud to have such a fine teacher on our faculty. VALEDICTORIAN Paul Lakln earned the honor of Valedictorian by having the highest grade point average of all the eighth graders. SALUTATORIAN Chris Forth presented an excellent Salutatory Address. ADMINISTRATION HAS FUN Top: Mr. Blevins slides down the slide. At the carnival he kissed this pig to raise some money. Middle: Mr. Blevins was given this bun which was especially made for him by the cooks. Bottom: The cooks have a variety of duties to perform. 34 HALLOWEEN PARTIES These Halloween characters don't look too frightening. The students enjoy dressing up for the occasion. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The setting for the program was the North Pole. The first grade sings Jolly Ola Saint Nicholas and I saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. The Elves and Mrs. Claus discuss Wink's problem and decide to use the Bridge Creek boys and girls to show Winky that Christmas has not been forgotten. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The first and third grades are appropriately dressed for the songs they sing in the Christmas Program. The second grade sings Twelve Days of Christmas as they give a visual picture of the song. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The fourth, fifth, and sixth grades sing in our Christmas Program, The Forgotten Christmas. 1 2 BOOSTER CLUB Once a month the Bridge Creek Booster Club meets to discuss how to raise money for the school. Afterwards, parents and faculty members have a chance to visit and get to know one another. 4 STUDENTS PERFORM Top: Fifth grade performs a patriotic presentation. Mrs. Lawson's students decorated these eggs. Booster Club members were asked to vote for the best one. It was a hard decision. Middle: Fourth grade sang and played instruments. 48 Bottom: Second grade sings for May Booster Club meeting. FOR BOOSTER CLUB Left and Bottom: Third grade entertained the Booster Club with a fabulous skit about the Easter Bunny. Right: The Kindergarten sings All I want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth. 2 SEVENTH EIGHTH GRADES 4-H Mrs. Johnson sponsored the 7th and 8th grade 4-H Club. Runners-Up were Cathy Adams escorted by Ray Lawlor and Denise Leake escorted by Ricky Fisher. 7TH 8TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL Coach Hicks led the 7th 8th grade basketball team to a winning season. (16 wins and 5 losses) 7TH 8TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL Miss Greear and Mrs. Allen coached the 7th 8th grade girls in a successful season. 5TH 6TH GRADE BOYS BASKETBALL 5TH 6TH GRADE GIRLS BASKETBALL CHEERLEADERS Fifth and Sixth Grade Pep Club had three cheerleading squads that alternated duties as cheerleaders. This gave each girl an opportunity to lead cheers. Members voted Rhonda Hunt and Dena Fisher best cheerleaders.
