Uncertainty and anticipation were in the air as the Brick Township High School football team lined up for its first football game in history. The season was con- sidered successful by all concerned. The schedule was divided evenly into four wins and four losses. Of these the most satisfying win was the 12-7 victory over Point Pleasant. Ken Xiques scoots around the end in the Toms River game. John Gant fakes out opposition during the Lakewood game. Our bitterest defeat came when we lost our Thanks- giving Day game to Central Regional, the final score being 13-12. The boys who are returning next year hope to avenge this loss and improve on last year's record.
