besiocreitu' The desiderata, Briarcrest's liter- ary-art magazine, is now in its fourth year of publication. The 1978 edition won a Medalist rating, the highest rank awarded by Columbia Scholas- tic Press Association in the literary- art magazine division. The desider- ata has received this particular honor for two consecutive years. All literature and art used in the maga- zine are original contributions from Briarcrest students. Much of the art- work, some of which is featured in a special portfolio section, has won prizes in city and state competition. The desiderata is an annual spring publication. 200 - Activities
