This year 35 girls participated in this choir which, even with the limited rehearsal schedule, rated Superior at Choir Contest in both performance and sight-read- ing. The Concert Choir is a select group of 40 voices under the direction of Mr. Steve May. They met 3 days a week at 7:00 in the morning. Their appearances around Memphis included the Downtown Kiwanis Club, the East Memphis Exchange Club, the Hyatt Regency, Colonial Country Club, and several churches. The highlight of the year was a week-long tour of Washington, D.C. The Concert Choir rated superior at Choir Contest. Activities -
