Our newspaper, the Scroll, exists mainly to inform the student hody. It also provides entertainment, promotes a better student- faculty relationship, and allows students to express their opinions. Some outstanding projects of the Scroll include sponsoring a leadership contest among the clubs on campus, printing in- formation from press conferences, and put- ting out special editions such as the HI'Iowdy,l and April Fool Issues. The Scroll won the Key Club Leadership Award for l962. Influencing this selection were the facts that its subscriptions have risen to ahove 1500 and, it is printed once a month as a six to eight page publication. -x P9 .M I ' Z ' Scroll Editors EDITOR-IN-CHIEF Betsy Mcllride SOCIETY EDITORS: Peggy Houslioldcr and Suzi Cl'CSllllH'l I' 'Ln' 'xiii i' f L ' ' t yffyi ...N f '?.Z 'x .,,f: FEATURE EDITORS: Pam Wilcox and Pam McDaris.
