Head Coach IOS FRANK HIXON As in previous seasons the girls dominated the Briarcliff swimming team. They have continued to place high in all their meets. The boys are not to go without due credit for they made commendable gains over last year's records. The girls' team placed second in the Southeastern Swimming and Diving Championship, only two points below first place Westminis- ter. In their only dual meet this year they out stroked Sandy Springs. In the State meet they took the second place trophy to step down from the championship. Of thirty-three teams in the state competition our hoys placed eighth, overshadowing their loss to the Sandy Springs swimmers. Under the fine leadership of Coach Frank Hixon, Briarcliff has high hopes of bettering their excellent record.
