Class Hlstory Graduation 1S almost upon us Heavens' It doesn't seem possible that we will be leavxng school 1D June to enter our new ways of lxfe. it's hard to fully realize that we are sen1ors It doesn't seem so long ago that we were just entering Kxndergarten where we became acquainted w1th Phliil Col- posta, Ed Fynmore, Marsha LIDCK, Sh1rly Kirk, Rod ey Persons, Raleif Ring Lsfly Scheve and Mary B1tt1ker We were craz about Mrs Eggleston The followmng year M1ss Blond1n welcomed us to the Ixrst Qlillx Items we may Harry F8dUSk1, Ronn1e Freder1eks, Gary Havens, Sara Lou Halle llvfl Jackson, Carol Joslin, Jxn Rice, Pat Sage, Marie Weeds! and Ron Sh rweeis we were certainly a growing class We were Joined 1n second grade by 'lblll Thomas and Dave Leff1ngwell M1ss Welch was our teacher, When we advanced to th1rd grade we met Jim Coe, Leon Faduskl, Terry Lau Marca, lancy Bartelotte and Dale Ferris Mrs Glonse was our new victim. In fourth grade we became two seperate classes, Miss Iseneker and Miss Alle! were our new teachers We had'dhly two add1tions that year, Ed Penczak and A n Rae Ernst At the end of that year we lost Lorralne Wheelock In fifth grade w1th Mrs Cady and Mrs Dav1s we met Fred Reed There were two students that jolned us in the s1xth grade, they were Mary Mercer and Theresa Fey but we lost Olin Moore M1ss Rucht1 and Mrs DuBo1s were our teachers that year, Well' we were flnally 1n the seventh grade How grown up the seniorlg, looked next to us In our f1PSt year of JUHIOP h1gh, we met three new clail lates, Helen Baker, Maryann l18tk0WSk1 and Phylls KW85U10USki That year Richard Horton, B111 Hannum and Sh1rly Meeker left our class Our advisors were Mr Torrens and Mr Lague In the elghth grade we learned that Bob C was going to be part of our class, wh1le at the end of the year we lost Bark Cornell, Gerry Rogers and Bob G11let lia Could it be poss1b1e that we were really Freshmen? We eeuld have bake sales and our f1PSt dances w1th an orchestra It was 1n this year that Miss An elakos whom we shall rememb 1 B 0 , er a ways, cam homeroom teacher of 9 B Durlng thxs year we Velma Hebdon, Joe Mlhalko, Ramona Wallace and we also lost many students Florence Sweeny, Judy Brooks, June T1lly and Ken Marsden The most exclting event of our Sophomore where we V1S1t6d many well known bu1ld1ugs, e to C S lb. Ano was the D also had some new elasimwtes Terry Weso owski Ulf0flUUll0f! Delbert Gr 11, Albert Earl, year was our trip to Albany, ave Roberts, Helen Cook, James Gklfflth, Clara Thayer, Carolyn Johnson, Bob Gerllng, Dave Walker and James Buchala left HS. Bob Moore Jo1ned us 1n our Jun1or year and we lost Larry LaQuay W have many happy memor1es of our JUHIOP year Our Jun1or plays went off well under the d1rect1on of Mlss Angelakos and put qu1te an added sum of money 1ht0 our treasury 'Do It Yourselfn and nInv1tat1on To Breakfastn were our two selectlons Durlng th1s year we recelved our class rlngs, wh1ch was very thr1ll1ng for all of us And then of course, there was our Junlor Prom Our theme was nCherry P1nk and Apple Blossom hh1te It was very beautlful and we w1ll cher1sh the mem0F1eS of lt always Our Klng and Oueen were Ronnle Sherwood and Ramona Vallace 1 sorr to lose Bett Cveeny and Ogzggasgigigig we g3:eaEg?v?:fesd?xPw?gg ggg! W0FeymUDY 'we wer! saddened by the departure 0 M1ss Xngelakos, but we were happy to welcome Mr. Rcnaill Our Senlor play, Charly's Aunt was a great success.
