After the introduction of our new superintendent, Mr. Haug- land, and our new teachers, Mr. Waddington and -Mr. Semprimoz- nik, it was back to our classes, back to the gririd,4back to our gripes, and back to everything that makes our high school days so uniquely ours! The glory of victory-the splendor that was theirs-was celebrated at the annual foot- ball banquet. Winning second place, they traveled on to the District Tournament at Grand Coulee. As the Brewster fans went wild, the Bears captured second place trophy and a berth to the State Tournarnent. In other areas this short month was a busy one. X's marked February's calendar for the Sweetheart Ball, an F.H.A. area meeting, a pancake feed by the Publications class, and a Crazy Dress Week sponsored by the Girls' Club. The F.H.A. held a tolo dance to start off a wondrous three-day spring vacation. As all things must come to an end, so did these good vacation days. The last nine weeks period was upon the students, nine weeks that, in spite of spring, spelled long hours of hard work and, because of spring, moments of horseplay. The Juniors and Seniors held the Junior-Senior Prom. Prom royalty included king, Bill Barrows, queen, Nora Harkinsp prince, Frank Moe: princes, Naomi Kimball. Last minute attempts at term papers, home proiects, and book reports kept everyone well oc cupied as the 1958 school year drew to a close. The Seniors sneaked away for a long week end.
