- Senior Prophecy ' The New York Herald Tribune has just been left in the mail box of the exclusive fashion shop of the Mesdames Mavis Beerman and Alice Isder in Paris France. The two proprletresres are working women of fashion, dressed in trim business suits. Each is eager to read the column of the noted news commentat- or and critic, Earl Sharplng. The paper's special feature is news about nshprpies Rye Crlspsn, which has originated in the small Minnesota town of Brewster. The noted social leader and woman about town, Martha Young, has just entertained the president and several of her old classmates. Calvin .Lueck, the multi-millionaire, was also among the noted guests and classmates. Calvin has made his fortune as a producer of helicopters. He is a second Henry Ford, producing millions of low priced copters for the average man. Jim Luther, being one of the first marines to participate in the battle of Korea, had a crowd of earnest admirers about him. This Don Juana was one of the most handsome and daring American heroes the little Korean girls had ever seen. He came home with one of the girls, and left many broken hearted damsels behind. Duane Schrleber was unable to be present at the reunion. He was attend- ing an important teacher's :onferencs at the University of Minnesota at which he was the principal speaker. In the past few years, Duane has become inter- nationally known as the Superintendent of the WWorld's Teachers soeietyw. This society was begun in l9b8, by President Roosevelt for the re-education of the Axis peoples. The former enemies have become slowly but surely an energetic, peacelovlng people through a program devised by Duane, a prominent part in the reform. n Art Dewall, the greatest ace of the battle of Korea, was a guest much loved and admired. Lieutenant Nettie Carlson of the Navy Nurse C0rpS,WaS stationed on e hospital ship in the Pacific, prior to the war in Korea, on which she treated Admiral Dewey for the nervous war Jitters. Joe Leach was the life of the party just as he always was. Boxer Leach is the former heavy weight boxing champion of the World. He has made remark- able progress durlng the years after the war and is supervising the rehabilit ation of Korea in his role of Major General. June Baumgard is now working at the Indian Reservation at Pipestone. Being that she spends so much time up there, she decided to get this Job. She ls going to be promoted to a chief staff leader of the Reservation in the very near future. Notre Dame is really coming up in their athletics now. They have Mark Krukemayer for their mein half back. They have won all but two games, which Mark wesn't able to play because of a very bad blistered toe. Ruth Slocum has new settled down to housekeeping. When she 1sn't busy, she styles people's hair for them. She has so many calls for styling, that she says she is going to cult housekeeping and open a beauty salon in Holly- wood fnd really make money hand over fist. Donald Smith is now judging sheep ft the National Live Stock shows in Chicago. Between judglng, and teaching his family the nlgn llgnts or 4-H, H6 is kept ouite busyg but he enjoys his work very much. Joe Kroneberger has now settled down to football coaching at the University of Iowa. He calls nga team NThe Hawken. His team was scheulded to play Wisconson last Saturday, but Wlsconson was so battered up from the last time they played WThe Hawken, that they weren't able to play. Spefklng of up and coming people, Ranzle Hoekstra is really on the way to success. He is now a banker at Magnolia, Minnesota. The people of this town are vary proud of their new banker, because they are only behind two thousand dollars, which is the best they've done in many a year. Gf course Alfred Polzine was on hand to get his big scoop of the year but had to hurry way at the heighth of the party to make a brosdcastg such is the life of any newspaper man. Nevertheless his Hooper rating is climbing fast, thanks to his beloved Berta, who doubles as wife and scriptwrlter.
