The boys start each day and keep in good condition by practicing calisthenics. The girls' instructor, MRS. BOB ANDREWS, has taught them well and has made it possible for the girls to belong to the Women's Athletic Association. The boys' coach, MR. CLIFF BROOK- SHIRE, has spent his year helping the boys develop their muscles and training future athletes for BSHS. 15

CHARLES GLASS as a member of its faculty. instruct- ing beginner and expreienced band mem- bers alike and repairing damaged instru- ments are only two of Charlie's many duties. Known to BSHS students as Chief, MR. JOHN D. EVERSMAN is hecld of the Brevard Senior High music department. Throughout the school year, he directs our superior band, stimulating an esprit de corps in the student body which might otherwise be lacking. To the student body of Brevard Senior High School, MRS. VERNE HlLL has pre- sented a new and different outlook to the wonderful world of music. The Glee Club, under her direction, has become an active vital part of our music program. Library MRS. GLENN GALLOWAY, our capable and experienced librarian, gives library in- struction to sophomores and aids all BSHS students in their quest of knowledge. I4
