We, the class of 1954 dedicate The Brevardier to Mrs. Dav- id Sams because she is not only an understanding teacher, but also a friend, counselor, or director for those of us who so often seek her aid. Unselfishly she gives her time and energy to her business classes as well as to her many duties as school secretary-treasurer, yet she always greets her students with a friendly smile that helps brighten the cloudy days. h
