ZVe7l As we leave ole Brevard lligh there are a num- ber of things that stand out in our memory of our high school days. VVe'll always remember our wonderful principal and the host of teachers who were our friends as well as teachers and counselors. There are many things that come to mind when we think about the Class of '-17. Connected with it are numerous memorable items that go to make up our recollections of our past. So let's record some of the things that will cause us to remember our classmates in the years to come. VVe'll remember-- Juanita Albertson for her helping hand in mathematics. Bill Charles for racking up those basketball scores. Newland Mull's excursions to the Post Qflice. Viola Johnson, Audrey Auvil, and Betty VVaters for those classes cut and the detention halls they couldnt cut. VVhen Lois Ann Orr played ianitorcss after throwing chalk down the stairs. Ray Cheeks chemical ability and Atlas physique. Nancy lane Loftis for those many essay con- tests she entered ami won. ,lack Moores quiet attention in Economics class. Ioan Austin's elliciency. originality, and op- timism. Mattie Ilamlins and Emogene McGuire's stenographic wizardry. Edwin Calloway for his work on the school paper. Mary Jane Fishers bowling average. Frances Loftis as the songbird of our class. L. V. Corn for his reserved criticism. Marjorie Cantrells steady beaux. Howard Burgess' allergy to tacks. Mary Bracken for her striking needlework. VVe'll almost remember Kenneth Hooper. Ovalee Bennetts Typical American Cirl look. Don Johnson For taking care of the business affairs of our class. Mollie lane MeCaha's short cuteness. Clyde 0rr's presidential ability. Mable Calloway, Lois McCall, and Carolyn Sentell for their never-ending correspondence. emem6er Pete VVright's ''never-in-a-hurry manner. Betty lane Reynolds and Ruby VVinchester and that Plymouth. Harold Stamey for the softballs he knocked on the roof. Dot Allison for hcr neatness, conscientiousness, Richard Parris for the many girls he dated. Betty Io VVilson and Gladys Norris for their Student Council activitiesi'. Charles Zieglers mathematical genius. and sweetness. lean Vasscy's many love triangles . Buddy Iones blush ability . Luther Norton as the spark plug of our football team. Helen Cravley's attractive oriental features. Fred McCall's and Roy Carrens 'plaid shirts. Thelma Landreth for her church activities. Charles Fuller and Gilbert Huggins for their disagreements in Economics class. Nell Bracken's quiet, sweet mannerisms. Geraldine Baxter for her wonderful persever- ance in mathematics. Inez Merrill for her pretty red hair and green suits. Perry llamlin for his debates in Economics. Carolyn Ilawkins for wearing nylons to school. Ray Rhodes' magnetic personality. Alda Poor for having definite plans about her future. Mary Ann Ramsey and A. V. Matheson's husband-wife parts in plays. Dot Osborne for her circulation , Alfred Neumann for being an irreplaceable school pianist. Almeta Batson's many kerchiefs. Ray Hamlin's ambling gait. Martha Lee Hudsons histrionic power in Mrzelvetlfs tomorrow soliloquy. Crace Kilstrom and Fannie Jo Tinsley's in- separable friendship. Dot Wfaldrop for the numerous baskets she shot in basketball. - Bobby Simpson as such a busybocly. Mildred Melton and Vvylma Pooser holding down the oihce third period. Of course, each of us can think of many out- standing and pleasant things in connection with our classmates. These are just a few to start your 'iremeinberern to working.
