m Above: Joann Cho gets her friend ready for bed; Right: Cameron Parker makes do with the situa tion for a phone call. mw Jones Dormitory this year is completely different from last year — almost as if it had a facelift. The Resident Directors, Julie Johnson and Diane Hoffman, are mak- ing a great effort to unify Jones so that the students will no longer think of themselves as East Jones or West Jones. Additionally, Diane is organizing a club unique to Jones which will deal with special projects such as holiday decorations and Halloween and Christmas par- ties, just to name a few. Jones ' Resident Assistants and representatives in SQA are very active and try to interact with the students i n Jones. There have been many im- provements and additions to Jones this year (Diane Hoffman and the freshmen, to name a couple), but there are some good things that have been retained from last year — like Julie Johnson, who is now also Assistant Director of Housing — and let ' s not forget the sophomores! All in all, Jones is a fine place to live — as its residents will readily attest. — Bari Siegall 18 Jones

■ TAYLOM Over the years Taylor has had the reputation of being the mischievious dorm, and this year is no different. When Taylor residents go on vacation they might come home to find a redecorated room with everything such as the bed, dresser, drawers in the dresser, and chairs turned upside down, along with their clothes and other loose belongings thrown all over the place. It would also appear that no one sleeps during the weekends or during the week, for that matter. You may ask yourself what could they possibly be doing? They are probably barricading the RD ' s door with every piece of furniture in the lobby so that he wakes up to quite a surprise, or maybe play- ing frisbee to all hours of the night. Still others like bowling in the hallways or throwing four and a half pounds of grapes in a grape war. Then you have the more orthodox form of competition between the dorm members with a football game out in front. All in all, Taylor residents seem to have no trouble amusing themselves.
