Like King ' s Creek! Brevard col- lege students are briefly passing through Brevard on their way to broader horizons. After leaving Bre- vard, many students go on to high- ly respected four-year universities. Upon graduation from college, stu- dents are forced to succeed in the real world. Because the student body at Brevard College is fairly small, students have greater op- portunities. They are able to work closely with their instructors, and are able to take on more responsi- bilities in extracurricular activities. Most students would not normally have that opportunity at a four-year college or university. Although the time in which a student passes through Brevard is relatively short, the knowledge and experience that one gains at Brevard will last a life- time. « 3 M t 2y The Pertelote wishes to acknowledge the lowing: Cover Art: Catherine Shearin, t ' hoto Contributors: Jock LautCrer, Scott Stonefield, David Robinson, Sydney Best, Susan Hall, Su san Hasslf.
