POSITIONS THAT REQUIRE CARING Robert McLendon is known to many people as the Dean of Admissions. This is his title; however, others know him as a dedicated friend and co-worker. The constant increase in enrollment of this college, at a time when it should be decreasing with the trend, is primarily due to Dean McLendon. Dean McLendon attributes this to his hard working, dedicated and professional admissions office staff. Don Scarborough, the newly established Dean of Student Affairs, is concerned about dealing with students through fairness and consistency. As student housing director, he feels that the residence halls need to provide not only a place to live comfortably, but a good learning atmosphere as well. Effectively dealing with the students is a special gift for Dean Scarborough, because caring is the easiest part of his job. 22 Administration
