Indispensable People The maintenance staff has been eternally busy making repairs in the dorms, caring for the grounds, and maintaining other buildings on campus. Although often going without praise, this staff has done much to promote a comfortable environment at BC. A vital part of the college community that has often been overlooked is the hardworking cafeteria staff who have faithfully produced three meals a day for six hundred starving students. Many times students have not realized the value of BC ' s cafeteria until they have discovered that the service and food have been far superior to those of other colleges and universities. Campus security handles a wide range of headaches for the Brevard College Community. From patrolling campus to opening doors, security guards are always ready to aid students or faculty with any problem. Director of Security, Richard O ' Hara and his officers are on duty day and night. They are constantly trying different ideas and methods in their search for ways to make the Brevard campus a safer place to live. 26 Faculty and Slaff
