Louise ' s combination of beauty, brains, and sportsmanship is an example of what every girl wants to be. Virginia Mae Huskamp brevard, n. c. Day Students ' Club; Photo-Nature Club. Vir- ginia ' s cheerful disposition and her willingness to cooperate should make her an ideal secretary. Joseph Glenwood Jenkins smithfield, n. c. George, better known as Fox, was one of the Romeos of the campus. Jennie Elizabeth Greer hazelwood, n. c. Choir; Christian Workers ' Club; Fireside Club; Mnemosynean, Chaplain ' 42. Jennie is a song- bird that likes everybody and is well-liked. Her main hobby was being hostess at parties on Second Floor. Robert Gregory kershaw, s. c. The two things at which Bob was most efficient were driving a Buick and play- ing basketball. Patricia Earnestine Grimshawe brevard, n. c. Kentucky, Kentuck, or just Tuck — no matter what you call her she ' s a girl with four V ' s; Vim, Vigor, Vitality, and Victory! June Cecil Keeter forest city, n. c. Basketball; Block B Club; Clarion Staff ' 41; Delphian; Football; Pertelote Staff ' 42; Skeeter is right at home on a football field and in a chem- istry laboratory. He plans to coach and to teach. Frank Thomas Laney, Jr. monroe, n. c. Cliosophic, Thomas seems to be the backbone of the kitchen at West Hall. His quiet, untiring energy makes him a very valuable asset to Miss Jones.
