Webster defines it as, A book, as ofthe facts of a year, published yearlyf' Yet, a yearbook is something more. A yearbook isa book of memories, of feelings captured in pictures and words. One might say that the purpose of 21 yearbook is to enable people to thumb through its pages and reeall how much fun it was to do this thing or that thing. A yearbook fulfills its purpose when it can make the reader say, l remember thatlii With this pur- pose in mind, the IQ67 Eagle presents This Was The Year That Was. This Vifas The Year That Vilas really started in March of 1966. The track team did exceptionally well as it took several big meets, including the State Championship. ii ,f The school slept for a short three months. 1
