Our progect started November the fifteenth 1955 ended April f1PSt 1954 We had twenty four skllled when needs Brent and men, one hundred slxty unskilled, twenty one trucks and three teams We also mad two teachers who helped tutor back ward puplls, four girls who catalogued all our books and helped wlth the clerlcal work Two girls who wasued wlndows and uelped leep the building clean All of our records are up to date and ln good shape. The books in all bulldlngs have been repaired, in fact all bulldlngs grounds and equlpment have been put lnto flrst class con dltion This wlll greatly reduce our malntenance expen ditures for the next few years. By looking wnto future needs we have also affected a great savlng 1n Capital Outlay. Thls nas been accompllsled by gradlng to pro vlde necessary playground space, athletic field, landscap ing of tional equipment grounds, alterlng bulldlngs and addlng to lnstruc Je were able to make these lmprovements with very little hauled with CWA labor expense to the distrlct as we quarried the stone, the clnders and sand, that had been glven to us, The Government gave the Brentwood School Distrlct 154,558.44 for labor and materials Our distrlct spent 3858.25 for tools, lumber, paint, rooflng material, plumblng and electrical fixtures, whlch is a llttle more than two per cent of the total cost.
