Juniors Present I Remember Mama as Class Play The junior class presented I Remember Mama on December 8 and 9. The play, adapted by John Van Durten from the book Mama's Bank Account written by Kathryn Forbes, was directed by Mr. Cy Rodgers. The play told the episodes of the Forbes family as they attempted to budget their money. The cast consisted of Libby Gar- nett, Katrin, Lisa Sellers, Mama, Jeff Toubin, Papa, Crispin Faykus, Dagmar, Sally Rost, Christine, Craig Ahrens, Mr. Hyde, Mark McCasland, Nels, Lois Goldberg, Aunt Trina, Dee Boehm, Aunt Sig- rid, Debbie Kenjura, Aunt Jenny, John Ragland, Uncle Chris, Mary Reue, Jessie, Darrell Boenker, Mr. Thorkelson, Paul Murski, Doctor Johnson, Mark Siemsglusz, Arne, Julie Burrell, nurse, and Melissa Kuretsch, nurse. Others were: Mark Arlitt, soda clerk, Shelley Reichers, Madeline, Leslie Laroe, Dorothy Schiller, Sonya l-lill, Florence Dana Moore- head, Mark Werth, bellboy, Benita Roberts, scrubwoman, Mark Wood, doctor and hotel guest. The production crew included assistant director Elizabeth Smith and stage manager Karen Klinkow- sky. Lisa Sellers was named best actress, and Libby Garnett best supporting actress. John Ragland was chosen best actor, and Jeff Toubin best supporting actor.

Juniors Do What Counts The junior class chose Dar- rell Boenker, president, Libby Garnett, vice-president, John Ragland, secretary, and Greg Rybarski, treasurer. The officers planned such activities as the candy sale, which profited 952,400 for decorations for the prom. The class play netted S5325 profit. They also planned the junior- senior prom which was held in the spring. Favorites were Lee Twiggs and Benita Roberts. l 2 4 5
