Keeping Cub Spirit Alive Was Task The cheerleaders, consisting of five seniors and four iuniors, worked constantly year around to give support to the various teams. They made signs to display around school, planned and per- formed pep rallies, led cheers at sports events, and attended a summer camp to learn new cheers. Nlrs. FHA Participate in National FHA Week The Future Homemakers ot America participated in many events during the 1977-78 year. They elected their two sweet- hearts which were Mike Brau and Devery Parker tor the two chapters. Members attended an area meeting in Houston on March 11, and a State meeting in Dal- las. Each year the FHA has a national week. During this week they presented the homemaking teachers with a live plant to be placed in the homemaking living room.
