New Rules, Place, T ee fe Same Cld Blazes The seniors of '78 worked many hours to 3 1 make their bonfire the biggest. The location of the bonfire was changed from the north side of the field tothe south side. t ,k lf. Y F Seniors started collecting wood a month b ahead and had two days to work on it. They had three outhouses, one dog house and , manyloads of wood. ' .2 For a change they had good weather for their bonfire.. W--fl 1 1 2 l. Butch Addicks adds his touch to the bonfire.. 2. Tommy Moehl- mann gets dirty working on the bonfire. 3. Robert Stewart helps on the bonfire. 4. Don Dahmann pushes the wood together with a trac- tor. 5. Mike Blue, Charles Sommerfield, Art Free, Mark Murphy, Jerry Curtis, Devery Parker, Al Pendergraff, Ftussell LaRoe, and Don Prenzler put the final touch to the bonfire. 6. V T First Work and Then the Flames With the lighting of the bonfire on Thursday night, the Homecoming activities officially started. Started, that is, for everyone but the band who had been marching all week and for the seniors who had been stacking wood for weeks.
