Classes Have More Than Just Studies There were times when students just sat in class and wondered what was to happen next. Students never really knew if the next thing they would be writing, studying, reading, or maybe just thinking, figuring, or of course the old favorite, talking. Whatever the case was, students seem to have found more things to do than just sit and boringly pass the long class hours. Hill iii s 2 1. Gerald Pohlmeyer uses an adding machine to catch the figures beyond his control. 2. Delmis Williams studies notes on his spare time in the library. 3. Debbie Kenjura, in deep meditation, pon- ders over her work. 4. Mary Reue chooses her own style to write. 5. Eddie Slaughter dreams of other places he could possibly be. 6. Mark McCasland, Mrs. Janet Gerke, and Craig Ahrens all hold a conference over the grade book. 7. Marisa Muske mixes up some recipe for homemaking. 8. Karen Borchardt and Kathy Husskeagain write out the famed tardy slips. 52 j

New Rules, Place, T ee fe Same Cld Blazes The seniors of '78 worked many hours to 3 1 make their bonfire the biggest. The location of the bonfire was changed from the north side of the field tothe south side. t ,k lf. Y F Seniors started collecting wood a month b ahead and had two days to work on it. They had three outhouses, one dog house and , manyloads of wood. ' .2 For a change they had good weather for their bonfire.. W--fl 1 1 2 l. Butch Addicks adds his touch to the bonfire.. 2. Tommy Moehl- mann gets dirty working on the bonfire. 3. Robert Stewart helps on the bonfire. 4. Don Dahmann pushes the wood together with a trac- tor. 5. Mike Blue, Charles Sommerfield, Art Free, Mark Murphy, Jerry Curtis, Devery Parker, Al Pendergraff, Ftussell LaRoe, and Don Prenzler put the final touch to the bonfire. 6.
