Out of a panel of three judges, five seniors and',one sophomore,were chosen for twirlers. .fff X Q ln order to try out a few qualifications had to be met. On mug obtain a B + average, be a member of the first band, have one year experience in marching band, and must try out with an original routine. The twirlers kicked off the Mayfest parade and added pageantry to the Fat Stock parade in Houston. They twirled in the Cotton Bowl with the band in the parade of Champions. 1.
