Juniors Order Class Rings Juniors who were interested in purchasing an official senior ring were able to on January 20. Two representatives from Star Engraving were selling the rings. There were some new and different styles to choose from. New stone inserts included the Phantom, which is a design beneath the stone and the Encrustingf' a design of gleaming gold, deeply and permanently embedded in the top of the stone. As for the rings themselves, there were three different colors, the yellow gold, the gold crown with a silver band, and white gold. Those who purchased a ring received a free t-shirt. fi .1 1. Debbie Dahlquest can't make up her mind which ring to buy. 2. Mary Reue reads about the different styles of rings. 3. Having fun trying to find her ring size is Connie Knipstein. 4. The problems of finding the correct ring size is illustrated by Karen Borchardt. 5. Karla Thornton reads a pamphlet describing the different rings for 1979. Q. ,.kr 1

Cheerleaders Win Spirit Stick Again The cheerleaders brought forth new ideas. They sectioned the students by classification. This organized the pep rallies tremendously. The cheerleaders attended a summer camp in which they won the spirit stick. They brought home the new spirit and many new cheers. The mascot was Cheri O'lVlal- Iey and the head cheerleader was Suzanne Perry. The sponsor was Mrs. Dannie Klebold. l 1 l ! x l t Y 5 5 s
