4 Torturing Tests Thrill Teachers Teachers choose a number of ways to g . torture students, but the most frequently used method is tests. Tests are supposed to find out how much a student has learned about the subject, according to the teachers. These tests come in all shapes and forms and range from short pop quizzes to 10-page quarter exams. They may be true-false, multiple choice Cmore correctly identified as multiple guessj, easy, fill-in-the-blank, short answer or matching, but they are all designed for the same purpose - to get a grade. l 2 3 1. Ms. Cynthia Parker shows that teaching can be fun - especially grading papers. 2. Mr. Robert Sherrill uses maps to get the message over to his world geography classes. 3. Faculty on the Job Nlembers of the faculty will find lots of ways to teach class and do their jobs. Some set up science labs, or give the stu- dents study periods. There are as many different methods as staff. 1. Mr. Paul Pipes sits while answering a student's question. 2.
