Teachers Have Their Share of Homework The faculty does more than simply grade papers and lecture. Most teachers really want to help their students learn something during the year, although one may think they do not. Just because they may get uptight and out of sight every now and then, from some little thing a student has done, does not mean they would like to hang him from his toes until he turns blue. They do forgive and forget. 4 Torturing Tests Thrill Teachers Teachers choose a number of ways to g . torture students, but the most frequently used method is tests. Tests are supposed to find out how much a student has learned about the subject, according to the teachers. These tests come in all shapes and forms and range from short pop quizzes to 10-page quarter exams. They may be true-false, multiple choice Cmore correctly identified as multiple guessj, easy, fill-in-the-blank, short answer or matching, but they are all designed for the same purpose - to get a grade. l 2 3 1. Ms. Cynthia Parker shows that teaching can be fun - especially grading papers. 2. Mr. Robert Sherrill uses maps to get the message over to his world geography classes. 3.
