Seniors Give the Chain Each year a traditional event occurs at Brenham High School in which the Senior class officially turns over its position to the Juniors. This event is known as Daisy Chain. The 1978 Daisy Chain was somewhat different because, due to lack of time, the prophecy of the Sen- ior class was cut short in order to allow time for the exchanging of the Daisy Chain. After the exchange, there was a procession of Juniors and Seniors in which each one received a daisy and moved to next year's seating section. 2 1. Senior class president Gary Averitt turns over the daisy chain to junior class president Darrell Boenker. 2. Suzanne Perry reads her part of the will during the ceremonies. 3. Lauren Harrison hands a daisy to Matt Spinn during the procession. 4. The Junior Board picks their daisies from the chain after the exchange. 5. James Reue presents another part of the will. 6. Dee Boehm does the serving person dance from the 1977 Prom. J 1
