Stairway to Heaven a Satisfying Evening There were many weeks and months of plan- ning forthe prom. The junior class decided on the theme Stairway to Heaven . The band Triumphs was chosen to provide the music. Many weeks ot preparation were necessary to decorate for and construct the prom setting. The prom was held on Friday, Nlay 19. The sophomore serving boys and girls were cos,- tumed as angels, and performed a dance at the first intermission.. ' Many people put in a helping hand, but it takes a leader to get it all together. Elizabeth Smith and Crispin Faykus were the chairmen ot the decorating committee. Construction chairmen were Paul Kostial and John Ragland.

Juniors Prepare Heavenly Prom There were many things to see during the prom. Juniors used imagination in planning the prom. For the food there were grapes as moon drops, punch as the sky mist, pineapple represented halos, mints were the angels' breath, and the fountain used was the shooting star. The decorations around the hall included many stars hanging from the ceiling, a harp and two silhouettes. 2 . 1. Nelson Kobs, Tammy Ahrens, andgarah Swy- geQmake sure there is enough food on the table. . Ricky Seilheimer and Kelly McLendon pose their prom picture. 3. Mark Arlitt and Connie Weidner slow down for the dance. 4. Regina Ellermann won- ders if she'll make it through the whole prom 5. Mark Wilkening and Lorri Gaskamp dance to a slow song. 6. Ray Busby and Teresa Martin dance to the music of the Triumphs.
