O Students Learn From Work When students get spare time during the 55 minute class period they tend to find some- thing to do with the extra time. Some chose to sleep, while oth- ers clean their fingernails or tell a neighbor a good joke. But still you have those who chose to work in the library, while others will spend time crit- icizing hall arrangements. But there are those who will actually work in class. 1 1. Health Careers Hears Wachholy The Health Career Club hosted a program with Mr. Wachholy from Home Health during the month of February. Mr. Wachholy spoke on all areas of the club. The purpose of the club is to give the students a basic under- standing ofthe field. The first occupation education programs were developed in Texas. The program was started in Brenham High School in 1976. The program correlates with supervised on-the-job training and work experience with related class instructional material. 1.
