Country Critters Stage Assembly Late in February, the normal routine of school was broken by the music and zany antics ofthe Country Critters. The Country Critters entertained the entire student body with their versions of songs by Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, and other country music performers. The five man and one woman group is a part of the Air Force Band ofthe West and they are stationed at Lackland Air Force Base. 4 l, Paul Crane likes being serenaded by a pretty Critter. 2. This Country Critter is doing what he does best- making people laugh. 3. Lance Cham- bers watches the Country Critters perform. 4. Les- lie LaFloe claps along with the music. 5. Michael Cottingham and Karen Klinkowsky enjoy them- selves at the assembly. 6. After being serenaded, Linda Schlottmann was given a record.

4 Try-Guts, Practice, Then the Show First there were the try-outs, then choos- ing of the cast, and then organizing of the crews before the Seniors could perform the play of Arsenic and Old Lace. There were many hours of hard work on behalf of the crew and cast before this favorite classic could hit the stage of Brenham High School. So if it wasn't for the behind the scenes work, this, or any play, maybe could not have been performed. 4 3
