Byapplying what these courses have to after, we begin to develop the power of observation and learn to express ideas in design and form. Practical classroom experience not only prepares us for Lana Fisher expertly transfers a corner of the art toom onto her drawing board. the future, but also gives us an understanding of the indus- trial and commercial world. Making use of knowledge learned in these subiects gives us skill with our finaers and quickness in our thinking. Dick Balsley, like the rest of the mechanical drawing' class, saves time do- ing his lessons with the drafting machine. 17

'xg 1 Shown by the movie operators, this film gives the Ag class a view of better methods of farming Preparing for their future in agriculture are not only those interested in farming, but also boys interested in the care or repair of farm machinery, new and better methods of farm- ing, sale of equipment, machinery, or land, and materials handling. Besides getting a better knowledge of this subject, they also receive valuable, practical experience through such things as keeping books, buying and selling, planting and harvesting.
