Dance Band Gains Popularit ROW I: Tom Maretto, Carolyn Furst, Karen Gieb, Phillip Fifer, Carol Reed, Catherine Klingerman. ROW Il Chris Olsen, pianist, Mike Cripe, Larry Hirstein, Charles Hutt, Jeff Mast, Donald Reed, James Baxter, David Michael, Jackie Espich, vocalist. The Bremen High School Dance Band was or- ganized in l953. Each year try-outs are held and members selected. The band this year consists of trombones, saxophones, drums, coronets, bass, piano, guitar, and vocalists. Each year the dance band plays for several out-of-town engagements. They also play for several school dances, one basketball game, and give a performance at the annual Spring Concert. The dance band is an organization which gives its members much enjoyment along with their hard work and provides entertainment for its listeners which is very much appreciated. Pep Ba nd
