Key Club Begins Its New Era ,NN ROW I: Ken Hummel, Mike Rishel, Dick Maurice, Mark Kelly, Dick Reidenbach. ROW II: Tony Gunterrnan, Richard Moser, Daniel Sherry, Ken Becknell, Roger Sanborn, Jim Reese, Allen Neher. ROW III: Jim Lemon, Don Smith, Jeff Mast, Gregory John Silvey and Jett Most proudly hold up one of the sweat shirts which has iust arrived for the Key Club members. Bolt, .lan Yoder, John Crittenden, Kirk BonDurant, Bob Walker. ROW IV: Kent Koontz, John Silvey, David Welch, Jeri Gurtner, Larry Hirstein, Lester Bellman, Mike Cripe, David Michael, Ted Huber. 20 A new club sponsored by the Kiwanis has taken its place in our high school. This club prepares teenage boys for the parts they will play as citi- zens after graduation. The members have performed several services for the benefit of the community such as setting up the Red Cross Blood Bank, selling beef barbe- que tickets for the Kiwanis, helping at the Hospital Auxiliary chicken barbeque, helping the Kiwanis sponsor the Kiddies' Day Parade, and repairing toys for needy children at Christmas. They also sponsored several dances for teen- agers, a hayride, and a skating party. One of their maior projects was buying a slow-motion proiector for the athletic department. To raise funds they sold concessions at football games and at the B-team tourney. They also had a pancake supper.
