L -V necessary, ln the summer of T956 the band participated in the - 5 tv ' J I I L Y Firemen's Convention at New Haven, Mermaid Festival at North ' l. , . Webster, and the American Legion parade at Fort Wayne, cap- K 1 ' I 3 turing first place in all of above mentioned. They also marched A A AH A 'F in the Walkerton Centennial, and Bremen's Labor Day parade, .- I played for the Bremen Library Dedication, and Bremen Hospital ,Li ig Benefit Ice Cream Social. The flag swingers and the twirlers helped to make the band shows more attractive.
