Another highlight of the year was when the Senior Class and faculty chose Marjorie Wolfe to represent our school as D.A.R. Good Citizen. Morris Brownwas chosen to attend Hoosier Boys State and Maridee Balsley and Marjorie Wolfe were our representatives at Hoosier Girls State. I8

paw ,ew ww aa: ya. 7,4 Our two plays You Can't Kiss Caro1ine and Mother Is A Freshman were smashing successes. They were hard work with plenty of rehearsals and just plain memorizing. Mr. McNew and Mr. Luttrull showed amazing patience with us and we tip our hats to them. At the conclusion of our sen- ior play the best acting award was given to Merl Heckaman. Kissing seems to be contagious. At least that is the way it appears. Virginia Bowser is presenting our two directors, Mr. McNew and Mr. Luttrull, with their gifts. You can guess who won the Senior Acting Trophy, and you can tell by looking at Merl he isn't a bit proud. Remember when Kirk kissed Sue?
