WHEN WE WERE .IUNIORS Kenny Crowel Glenice Jensen Although our Junior year wasn't as busy as our Senior year, we kept busy with the prom and the play. Our prom, which was held in the gym on May 6, l95O, revolved around a wishing well in the center of the gym and o small white picket fence separated the dance floor from the tables. The music was by the Top-Hats, an excellent orchestra from South Bend and Kenny and Glenice were elected by our class as king and queen. The play HERE COMES CHARLIE was a hilarious comedy with Kenny and Glenice playing the leading roles. Jay did a good iob as Uncle Alec with o hill billy accent and a boiled shirt. Junior, as Kenny's best friend, generally got himself into difficulties with Kenny's aunt, Eunice Neusus. Dot's brood, Ted and Martha, were about the snootiest of the lot until Ted fell in love with Glenice. Windy managed to find ci cop's uniform big enough for him and Moria had an lrish accent for weeks afterwards, but the play was a good one and everyone had a wonderful time presenting it. Miss Terwilliger directed the production. 21
