X fl - Now, as the mighty seniors of '50, there are forty-nine of us, willing, able, and as studious as can be expected. You know, Diary, I think maybe there is some hope for us, although sometimes our teachers don't think so. Just take our basketball team. There were six seniors on it-Rex Allen, Lew Brown, Herb Hueni, Warren Keyser, Jack Shively, and Paul Smith. All three of our cheer leaders were seniors. They were Doris Clindaniel, Day Lou Smith, and Louis Flora. There were sixteen seniors in concert choir, fifteen in mixed chorus, thirteen in band, four in G. A. A., sixteen in Sunshine, five in 4-H, six in F. F. A., three in science club, and there were two senior librarians. Our student council representatives were Carol Seymour, and Bob Babcock. This senior year certainly was busy. We ordered our graduation invi- tations and name cards, and were measured for our caps and gowns. After many hot arguments we finally came to a conclusion about our commence- ment program, and we planned a boat trip to Niagara Falls. We wasted a whole morning of school just taking our glamourous senior pictures. Why wouldn't we be beautiful posing for that photographer? Commencement was a fitting climax to our busy year. Now we leave all these exciting activities to the class of '5l. , r llfxjg .
