SENIOR OFFICERS Jack Shively ..... ...........,.., Vice-President Paul Smith ....... ..........,,,, President Lyle Shenefield--- - ,... ,,,-, Secretary Warren Keyser eniorfi Dear Diary: As I write in you, it doesn't seem possible that it is for the last year. Since 1938, as you know, we've had many experiences, some good and some not soo good. Let's see! That's the year we started our education-some at Sunnyside, some at Muncie, and some at the old Bremen School. The following year the schools were consolidated into the new Bremen School. As the years rolled on many students left us and many new ones came. Then the day came when we were shoved into high school. ln the ninth grade, the students coming from other schools were Bill Leeper, Phil Miller, Don Holdeman, Martha Bornemann, Jane Glomp, Marion Sahlhoff, Helen Mutti, Ellen Seitz, and Bill Jones. ln the tenth grade Joanne Crowel, Joanne Henne, and John Fehr came. In the eleventh grade Bob Babcock, Ronnie Rolland, and Ray Smith came. During our twelfth year Edgar Blessing from Kemnat, Germany, visited with us. ' When we organized as juniors Herb Hueni was our president, Lyle Shenefield our vice-president, and Doris Clindaniel our secretary-treasurer. During the year we sold 52,100 worth of magazines to bolster our class treasury, our precious class rings came the first part of January, and we also enjoyed dressing up for a gala junior prom at the Hotel Elkhart. Of course, play practice added some fun and hard work to our junior year. The play, The Doctory Has A Daughter went off very well with the help of Mrs. May. Treasurer
