This teacher is originally from Bowdon, GA, where he still lives. He received his Masters Degree at West Georgia College in Business Administration and Art. He presently teaches Art and Photography. We also want to recognize and show our appreciation for some ofthe special things he does for us here at B.H.S. lie sponsors the yearbook, and he takes many of the pictures featured in these yearbooks himself, During football season, he drives the cheerleaders to the various game locations. They went to camp in Clinton, South Carolina, and practiced hard to get ready forthe challenges that awaited them, They started off slowly, but after a few changes and adjustments, they wound up with a 9 win and 3 loss record. When the smoke cleared, Bremen had placed second in region 6-A. The 1984 Blue Devil season was a good one which will long be remembered by the team, the coaches, and the fans. 4 4 A TIME FUR The Coaches at Bremen High School are a good example of hard working men who care about their work, the school, and the kids. In early Au- gust. the band attended camp atjaclqsonville State Vniversity where they studied under in- structors and professors for an entire week. Besides providing plenty of Blue Devil Spirit and half-time entertainment at all the football games. the marching band attended three competitions at Central of Carrolton. Rome, and Columbus. The band and auxillary groups brought home 19 superior trophies for first in class by the Drill Team and drum- hne. The Concert Band attended the G.M.E.A. Ifestival and brought home a Ill rating in performance and sight-reading. The Concert Band also performed in Orlando. It hegan with a pep rally at the gym, and the festivities spilled over into the streets of Bremen with a vivacious parade. The parade was full of colorful floats which displayed a central theme- Beat Redhudm. The 8th, grades float ran away with first place. Their float was called Cardinal Bust- ers. The excitement was building. and everyone was look- ing forward to the game and the crowning. The game hegan with a circling of the representatives around the field and then a fierce hattle of wit and heart took place. When halftime arrived everyone was ready to find out who would hecome the new Queen, The senior representatives were Paige Smith. Kim Driver, and April Anderson.
