HISTORICAL BACKGROUND BREMEN HIGH SCHOOL 4 S THE people of Bremen praise Bremen High School, it is our eitorts, and deeds and hope of Bremen High students, to glorify the school and raise it heaven- ward, in the ideals for which the school has stood and will stand. Faith and untiring works were the forces of construetiong they were the unseen builders. These forces have been citizens of Bremen. 'I he origin of Bremen High School has been traced to the establishment of Ham- ilton College in 1893. The college was named in honor of its greatest benefactor. Judge G. B. Hamilton. The first graduates received A.B. degrees. In H399 the Collegiate curriculum was dropped and the school was named Bremen High School. ln l9U9 the present High School building was erected and in 1923 the grammar grade building was added. ln each passing year it has manifested itself in better equipment. larger enroll- ment. and more efficient teachers. Bremen High has soared in its history and has attained a height that few other schools have ever reached. When each student of the present sees the banner of Blue and White they will strive as the ones before them to go to a height that will please tI1e known and unknown builders of Bremen High and let them know our appreciation of old B.
