INTRODUCTION TO SENIOR CLASS When the class of '58 first came to Bremen, they were the unsuspecting freshmen who enter every fall. They bought “elevator tickets , walked into wrong rooms, and carried on the traditional freshman customs. It became apparent, however, that this group would be more than just a class — it would become the pacesetters for Bremen. Looking back on the last four years, the class of '58 has led the way. This year alone seniors alone have held offices in the Girls’ and Boys’ Club, Student Council, Science Club, F.H.A., F.T.A., and Arrow. They have been active in many more organizations too; members of this class were to be seen in the band, choruses, and Fall Play, to say nothing of the Senior Class Play. The Athletic Department has always been of major interest to the Class of '58. Representatives have been found displaying skill and talent on the grid iron, the mat, the track, and the diamond. Our senior boys led the Bremen Braves to their first Conference Varsity Basketball Championship. Nineteen hundred fifty-eight is a magic number for the two hundred students of Bremen’s graduating class. To them, it brings back memories of that last year which will never be forgotten; memories of college entrance exams, scholarship tests, the excitement of the D.A.R. award, who was accepted at what college, Honors Day, National Honor Society, the Prom, and graduation.
