Mr. Michael Nicoletti heads the team and is supported by Mr. Jack Hribar, Mr. Ronald Marec, Miss Lois Miller, and Mr. Milton Kronick. Each member of the team lectures in his specialty fields. Lectures are generally held three times a week and are followed by one day of group discussion, in which students can receive individual aid. Kounfy Ghamplbns For the first time in Brecksville High School's history the Bees' football squad went undefeated completing a perfect 10-O season with an emotion-filled 20-6 victory over Berea. Coach Joe Vadini attributed the fine record to teamwork, a terrific spirit, and the leadership and example set by the twenty seniors on the squad. In winning the West County Title, the Bees placed a record nine boys on the All-County Team including center Pat Flanagan who was the only one to make it as a Junior also. lt will be a long time before any of us will forget those last moments of a victorious season as the goal post fell under the PIONS. In compiling a 7-1 county dual meet record, the Bees' matmen became county league co-champs with last year's dual meet champion - Solon. In county tournament competition, the team, faced with numerous upsets in the earlier rounds, placed a strong second, with Dick McCoy leading the point earners with two pins and a first place. Lee Keenan, the winner of the Brecksville Christmas Tournament heavy-weight championship, placed second, as did John Barona and Mark Studley. However a new element was introduced this year - both the basketball and the wrestling teams chose the queen. The crowning took place during half-time, and Student Council sponsored a dance after the game in honor of the queen and her court.
