Dana Hutcherson Ellen Phlegar Any eighth or ninth grade girl who has earned one hundred points may join the Girls' Ath- letic Association. These points can be earnedby participation in sports, by being a squad leader or assistant in class, or by having a perfect gym record Qbeing dressed for each classj. This club sponsors varsity volleyball, one hop a year, and intramural sports, including basketball, volleyball, tennis, soccer, softball, speedball, and bowling. Throughout the year the organization sells sweatshirts, as well as paper and pencils out of the machine in the hall. Activities for the year range from trackand field play day for incoming seventh graders to parent night when par- ents are invited to play the G.A.A. members in volleyball.
