Student Cooperative Association Tops Goal for Christmas Baskets Meeting at least once every month, the S.C.A. headed this year by President Raymond Hard- man, did much in the way of creating a wholesome, workable atmosphere here at Breckinridge. Its members had a number of projects such as selling candy, student directories, composition books, and Christmas bows made by the children. With the profits, the organization took care of many kindnesses in the name of the school. For example, remembrances were always sent to those who were sick for extended times or to those who had suffered the loss of a loved one. At Christmas, the organization collected enough food for twenty Christmas baskets to be sent to needy families. At mid-term, the organization sponsored a tea for the teachers. Aside from the various projects, the S.C.A. ably represented the school in the fall at the District S.C.A. convention. There, Gary Overfelt, our local district representative, participated in introducing the speaker. Raymond Hardman also participated in the convention by leading a discussion group.
