A VNU STAI- 1- Mike Sullivan EDITOR-IN -CHIEF This has been an exciting and wonderful year for all the students of Buckaroo Land. It was, of course, impossible to show each indi- vidual's special memory in photography, but we hope that through our selections that many of them have been captured for you to enjoy in the years to come. Our grateful thanks are extended to the many people who have helped us with your 1962-63 annual, especially to our sponsor, Mrs. E. R. Maxwell. The splendid cooperation of the faculty added much to the efforts made by our staff. To Mr. Hammer and Mr. Homme, our much lauded praise for their photography. This is best expressed simply, A job well done! Our main goal has been to edit a yearbook that you will cherish as an old friend. It has been fun, but also a worth while experience. Soto you, the student body, we present to you, your 1963 BUCKAROO. As Confucious might have said, Good times come to an end, but memories are forever. The Student Council is composed of the President of the Student Association and the presidents of all the homerooms. All officers except the president, who is elected by the stu- dent body, are elected by the council. The principal must approve all business acted upon by the group. The council meets only when there is business to be discussed, at which time the president gets the permission of the principal to call a meeting. This organization promotes relations with other schools through correspondence. There are many special projects during the year such as being in charge of concession at basketball games, helping plan assemblies, helping with homecoming, and conducting daily morning devotionals. Each member is presented a gold Student Council pen at the end of the year. , - President Robi Bendorf PRESIDENT OF THE STUDENT ASSOCIATION il In FRESHMAN REPRESENTATIVES Ruth Ann Guy, Kay Thornton, Phil Moore, Sylvia Pierce, Sherry Copeland SOPHOMORE' REPRESENTATIVES Susan Vick, Kay Martin, Ronnie Edwards, Jerry Raglin, Rex Carey
