Not pictured is Barb Gould, Junior, who suffered an illness during the year. The Varsity Cheerleaders were chosen in the Spring of '63. These cheerleaders promoted school spirit and were behind the Varsity Basketball and football teams 100%. In the fall of the year Sue Meyers was chosen as Captain of the cheerleaders and did a fine job all year. Through the year the cheerleaders sponsored a few candy sales and a dance. Our hats go off to these girls for a job well done. 29

The Junior Varsity Cheerleaders were chosen in the fall of ’63. These girls supported the J . V.’s in football and basketball. Many hours of practice were spent in making these girls the fine cheerleaders that they were. We salute these girls for the fine job that they did. 30
